A round-up of 10 Delicious and Easy Stir Fry Recipes for some inspiration! Stir fries are always great for vegetable-rich, low fat, delicious and fast meals.

Happy New Year! I don’t make resolutions, but the flipping of the calendar to a new year always seems like a good time to bring a bit more focus to my eating habits, that may have been a little un-focused over the holidays ;)

The problem with focusing on eating a bit better for the new year, is that it happens to coincide with the absolute depths of our winter. And I’m not talking a dusting of snow and “sweater weather”. I’m talking feet of snow and -40 temperatures. So let’s just say salads are out. So when it comes to lighter, more balanced eating in January, my thoughts always go stir fries. They a always vegetable-rich and are also quick and easy, as we slip back in to our routines.

Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be sharing 3 or 4 great stir fry recipes of my own, along with some great stir fry tips. So stay tuned for that! To get you started with some stir fry inspiration though, I’ve rounded up 10 Delicious and Easy Stir Fry recipes from around the internet. Enjoy!

  • Boy Jennifer, some great recipes to try out.
I sure do enjoy a good stir-fry, thanks for all of these recipes.
My wok always gets a good work out….at least it does even when I don’t…LOL!!
I was wondering if you have ever cooked with glass noodles?
I really have no idea what their other names are, but glass noodles is how I know them.
If you have ever cooked with these noodles could you maybe post that recipe, I would really appreciate it.
I would like to add some different foods to my meal plans this year.
Glass noodles were gifted to me this Christmas so I’m will be cooking with this item.
I guess my friends do enjoy eating over by our house when they gift me food to experiment with.
Lucky for them they get invited over to be my “taste-testers”, thumbs up or thumbs down.
I do make loads of your recipes and they never fail me. :-D
Thank you and have a nice day!

    • Hi Dalila and no, I have not cooked with them. They aren’t available in my small town, but I will look for them when I’m in Toronto, next. I did find this recipe that looks great from the Kitchn; -http://www.thekitchn.com/thai-recipe-spicy-glass-noodles-with-crispy-pork-175093 to get you started though :)

  • I have to find my wok! I lost it some time ago and have really missed it. These all look wonderful Jennifer – and now I’m seriously hungry! Hope you’re enjoying all that snow – I think I encouraged you to send some our way – but oh well! Just rain today.

    • You must find it, Tricia. So much great flavour! And yes, we definitely have snow to spare, but raining her today (pouring actually), which as you can imagine, doesn’t play with with snow on the ground. Kind of a mess out there!

  • Stir fry is one of my very favourite ways to get lots of goodness and clean out the fridge at the same time. I always have frozen shrimp on hand so there’s usually a way to make something up quickly.
    Beautiful collection, Jennifer.
I hope your holidays have been fabulous. A beautiful white Christmas! Happy New Year to you :)

    • Happy New Year! Thanks so much, Robyn and yes, they are great fridge cleaners!! Had a nice holiday, but seemed too brief. We are just getting blasted with snow now (as are you, I’m sure). Enjoying the time inside to get some things done though :)

I love hearing from you, so if you have a question or something isn't quite clear, I'm happy to help. If you made this recipe, I'd love to know how you liked it ~ Jennifer
