10 Most Popular Recipes of 2013

Seasons and Supper's Top 10 Recipes of 2013

It seems everyone is sharing their top recipes of 2013 right now, so since I’m in full-on pajama day/house-cleaning/putting away Christmas gift mode and not cooking a heck of a lot, I thought I’d share mine, too!

Round-up of Seasons and Suppers most popular recipes of 2013.

I hit up analytics to get some numbers and establish the most viewed/visited recipes here at Seasons and Suppers. I limited it to recipes that were published in 2013, although a couple of older ones, still make the most popular list.

A quick look at the list tells me one thing – everyone loves sweets. In fact, there are only three savory items on this list (although they are this years #1, #2 and #3!). So without further adieu, here are this year’s top 10 Seasons and Suppers recipes …

1. Creamy Asparagus and Aged Cheddar Bake

Creamy Aged Cheddar Baked Asparagus
[pinit] I have to confess, the popularity of this one caught me off-guard. I think I called it a “hot mess” in the recipe description! What it lacks in neat looks though, it makes up for in taste. A great dish when a little creamy cheese is needed on the dinner plate.

2. Perfect Creamy Macaroni and Cheese

[pinit] Almost one year later, this is still my favorite Macaroni and Cheese recipe, made many, many times in my kitchen. It’s lusciously creamy, full of cheese and perfect comfort food.

3. Soft Cheese Bread: Two Ways

Soft Cheese Bread - Two Ways
[pinit] I know a lot of readers who have tried this bread, because many of them wrote me to tell me how good it is. And it is. It’s a recipe that has become a staple in my household and is so adaptable to different variations (like the Jalapeno Popper Cheese Bread I made a few months ago.)

4. Cannoli Cream Puffs

[pinit] Pretty cream puffs meet creamy cannoli filling. And it was very, very good. I’m overdue for making another batch of these.

5. Warm Lemon Pudding Cakes

6. Cinnamon Crunch Bread Pudding

[pinit] I never thought of myself as a huge bread pudding person, but this one totally changed my mind. It was delicious and the Creme Anglaise sauce complemented it in a way that made it especially memorable.

7. Apple Crumble

Apple Crumb Cake
[pinit] This dessert was such a pleasant surprise. Made from just a couple of apples and things I usually have around, it’s a great one for baking up any time of year. Perfect for family treats or entertaining. Delicious and easy. Another keeper I’ll make often.

8. Dad’s Christmas Shortbread Cookies

[pinit] My Dad was such a sport sharing his kitchen with me to document the annual shortbread cookie baking. A special post for me and so glad others enjoyed it, as well.

9. Caramel Apple Dutch Baby

[pinit] The idea for this Dutch baby was kicking around in my head for quite a while and it more than lived up to my expectations. A wonderfully easy and tasty Fall and winter treat.

10. Cinnamon Crunch Skillet Bread
