Crab Apple Jelly

RECIPE

A classic crab apple jelly recipe, with my best tips, along with step-by-step instructions and photos, to make sure your homemade jelly is perfect!

Prepare the apples

Cut the crab apples in half and add to a pot of water. Simmer until soft.

Strain

Strain the apple and collect the juice. Measure out the sugar based on how much juice you have.

Boil

Boil the juice and add the sugar. Boil until it reaches 220F.

Jar

Strain and pour into sterilized jars.

Enjoy!

Can be refrigerated or canned for longer storage.
