You don't need an espresso machine to make this delicious drink! See instructions below. If using a jar in the microwave, be sure to use a large jar. Note that chocolate milk is not super sweet, so if you typically enjoy your coffee with sugar, you may want to add a bit to the hot coffee. This recipe makes 1 drink. Double, as necessary.
If you have an espresso machine: Steam/froth the chocolate milk and set aside. Make espresso or use your coffee maker to make a small amount of strong coffee. Add to serving cup. Add heated chocolate milk to cup and spoon froth on top. Add a dollop of whipped cream and chocolate shavings on top.
If you don't have an espresso machine: In a large jar, heat chocolate milk in microwave (without lid ountil steaming. Place lid on jar and shake until frothy. Set aside. Brew a bit of strong coffee and add to your serving cup. Add heated chocolate milk and spoon froth on top. Add a dollop of whipped cream and chocolate shavings on top.
